Community markets connect their participants to share / exchange resources together. They create spaces for their members to discover and interact with each other for what they are seeking or offering.
Meem, $OAK, and friends are developing tools that enable any community marketplace to self-organize and collaborate. Whether it's farmers' markets, food halls/food trucks, pop-up markets, or individuals looking to buy and sell goods, we’re building tools to allow community markets to easily organize, collaboratively onboard vendors, and publish information to a shared public website. Over time, we’ll add more open-source tools to enable community markets to create and manage events, publish goods for sale, accept payments, and more.
